What’s Included.
Bore & Hone block to proper specs;
(For Show cars or normal driving .0035-.004″ (.0889-.1016 mm)
(For Racing or High Performance .0055′-.006″ (.1397-.1524 mm)

Re-chamfer Port angles (required after boring)

Powder Coat Block, (top & bottom), Front Pulley Assembly and related parts.

Thread “chase” and repair damaged threads in block and engine bottom half cover.

True all block surfaces (case and bottom cover, crab manifold area, water jacket, exhaust & head surfaces with flat sanding stone

Check cylinder head.
Includes chasing all threads including for sender unit as well as spark plug threads.
Running cylinder head on belt sander to true surface*.   Check squish band for proper gap and pocket width for compatibility with bore and piston size.
*Heads Severely warped or with wrong squish pockets/bands and improper or damaged pocket size will  require mill work that is an additional charge of $175-250.

All New bolts.   For the Cylinder head (Grade 8 bolts).  The rest of the block uses new grade 5 bolts along with Two New frost plugs

Crankshafts will be upgraded from the antiqued Saab OEM design large end bearings & cages replaced with an EXCLUSIVE MODERN DESIGNED connecting rods with an exclusive “Small End” lube hole for wrist pin bearing lube.  An Added BONUS is ALL rod kits are WEIGHT MATCHED!  (see photo)

The small end wrist pin bearing is upgraded to an EXCLUSIVE 18x22x29 mm “long-single” needle bearings in Silver coated cages. (see photo)

Large end bearing is POLYMER coat metal cage with 19 large needle bearings that are 28x35x11 mm.(see photo).  These are a modern snowmobile/Jet Ski type design for long life and capable of RPM’s of over 10,000!

The FOUR main bearings are a quality SKF Bearing.  (No inferior Chinese Bearings)

All new Wiseco HP Pistons* made of 4032 forge alloy designed specifically for Modern two-stroke application. They also have an Electra-Coating on the ring Grooves and wrist pin boss areas for added durability.
The piston pin bosses also have lubrication holes.
Wrist pins are custom made & have a micro finish for added durability.

The skirts have an ArmorGlide™ Exclusive Coating  (SEE PHOTO & LINK)

Wiseco’s detailed skirt shapes and profiles are very specific to each application. Variable cam programming software developed in house allows Wiseco to produce high-performance shapes unique to only Wiseco. The skirt shape (barrel/cam) is one of the most functional areas on the piston, and provides stability and smooth operation in the cylinder bore. Stability is important for proper ring seal, reduced friction, and quiet operation. Each skirt shape is designed for a specific running clearance, based on coefficient of thermal expansion of the piston alloy. Some forging alloys expand more than casting alloys, but each Wiseco piston is designed with the proper installed clearance to produce the most power, least wear, and best seal at running temperature, for each application. Comparing installed clearances on cast vs forged parts is not indicative of the running clearance at temperature. Wiseco engineers have a strong background in all forms of racing applications, and produce the best shapes and designs in the industry.

Our forged pistons offer our new ArmorGlide™ skirt coating, which is the result of testing, development, and benchmarking through Wiseco’s rigorous in-house dyno program. The outcome is the ultimate in skirt coating toughness, lubrication, and bond technology working together to minimize friction, maximize horsepower, and provide improved wear resistance. Not only is ArmorGlide™ a high-tech lubricant that reduces friction, but it also allows the piston to be fitted tighter within the bore allowing a better ring seal and reduced noise from piston rock.
